The island of Bagaud and the neighboring islets of Rascas and Gabinière are biological reserves part of the Port-Cros National Park. Fishing and spearfishing are prohibited there, as is the only wild but secure possible anchorage in the cove facing the Pointe du Moulin à Vent. The coastline of the island is bristling with more or less exposed rocks with steep escarpments. In the northeast of Bagaud Island, off the Pointe du Beau, a mooring buoy is primarily intended for diving clubs. There, even beginner divers can appreciate an original underwater architecture made up of large flat rocks called Les Dalles de Bagaud and particularly rich in protected species.
