Jean-François Milou is a graduate of the Beaux-Arts School of Paris and the founder of the Studio Milou architectural firm in 1988. He specialized in renovating old buildings and museums. He carried out major projects in Asia and has an agency in Singapore and Vietnam. As a consultant for the Unesco World Heritage Center, he also intervened on the historic sites of Dohla Virha and Taj Mahal in India. In 2006, Jean-François Milou's studio was entrusted with renovating the Cité de l'Automobile in Mulhouse.
