Some operate directly in the construction of the castle, such as clearing workers, navvies, quarrymen, stonemasons, masons, lumberjacks, or carpenters. Others exercise small trades that are particularly important for the functioning of the yard, such as the carters transporting materials with horses, the blacksmiths (photo) making and repairing tools, or the basket makers weaving large transport baskets.
