The Bardelières farm, renamed Naturellement Normande, extends near Vire in the Calvados department. The family operation was taken over by Denis Lelouvier in 1998, joined by Janine, whom he married in 2008. The couple has since endeavored to produce organic meat from animals entirely fed with grass grown and dried on the farm. They built an innovative milk processing unit attached to the building. A chip boiler provides the energy for drying the grass and heating the premises.
