The biophysical occupation of the soils in the municipality of Albepierre-Bredons, in the Cantal department, highlights the importance of natural environments and forests. They represented 97.3% of the rural and mountainous territory of the locality in 2018. They mostly consist of shrub and herbaceous vegetation (35%), forests (34.4%), and natural meadows (27.9%) sometimes covered with snow in winter.
