A port attentive to sustainable development
Since June 1, 2021, the ports of Le Havre, Rouen, and Paris have merged into Haropa Port, the major port on the Seine axis. Sustainable development is a significant asset of Le Havre's port, which tries to reconcile its economic development with the local environment. Some 25% of the harbor is devoted to preserving the surrounding fauna and flora, and the site works in concert with the Natura 2000 program.
