Listed as a Historical Monument since 1921, the Notre-Dame de Beauvoir chapel is known for a strange phenomenon called suscitation (arousal). Numerous stillborn children would have come back to life there during their baptism, hence earning the right to go to heaven. Similar accounts have been reported in other chapels in the Alpine arc, such as Notre-Dame de l'Ortiguière in Saint-Christol-d'Albion.
