The former Couvent des Franciscaines (Franciscan convent) of Deauville has become a place of exchange between the arts inaugurated on May 12, 2021. The architect Alain Moatti interweaved a library, exhibition spaces, workshops, a restaurant, and an auditorium installed in the old chapel whose stained-glass windows were restored. The site also includes a museum dedicated to André Hambourg, an official painter of the French Navy who painted numerous Norman landscapes.
