The Beuchat company was founded in 1934 by Georges Beuchat, then aged 24. In 1953, he invented the isothermal diving suit that played a key role in the development of underwater activities and laid the foundations for future developments in materials and techniques. Since then, the brand's green commitment has always pushed it towards technological solutions - such as, for example, neoprene foam mainly made from limestone - reducing the use of chemicals and towards marine protection actions such as the international Mission 2020 campaign.
