Frédéric Lamouroux, 53 years old, has been running the Pont de Gau ornithological park of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in Camargue since the mid-2000s. The descendent of the site's founders, he has perfected his ornithological training within the Tour du Valat Biological Station in Camargue before working on the protection of snow geese in the Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area in Quebec.
