The bull of Camargue, king animal of the region, is smaller, more nervous, and faster than its Spanish cousins. Also known as a brave breed, it is the only European breed of bulls still considered wild. The animals, raised in manades, herds led by a gardian, evolve in vast natural spaces. These passionate herdsmen pamper the bulls in the hope that they will one day become famous through one of the events at the arenas.
