The municipality of Saint-Tropez is located on the eponymous peninsula that closes the gulf bearing its name. It is bordered by the Mediterranean Sea from northwest to southeast and adjoins the municipalities of Gassin to the west and southwest and Ramatuelle to the south. Crossed by no national road and deprived of any coastal road, Saint-Tropez is accessible from the crossroad of La Foux and a network of secondary roads (Route des Salins, Chemin du Pinet, or Chemin Sainte-Anne). It is linked by sea shuttles to the towns of Grimaud to the north-west and Sainte-Maxime to the north.
