Blue wildebeests are know to be a migratory species and their morphology is especially adapted to this way of life. Indeed, they have a slanted black, as shown on this photography of a male. The shoulders are relatively high on the body, their front legs are longer than their back legs. With this position, they are able to travel long distances cantering, without getting too much tired.
