The hillsides and forests of the Marne region are steeped in history. With a surface area of 530 km2, the Parc naturel regional de la Montagne de Reims (Montagne de Reims Regional Nature Park) comprises a wooded plateau, surrounded by the slopes of the Champagne vineyards. The altitude does not exceed the 286 metres of Mt Sinai and the gentle hills make the landscape undulating. Fifty-seven historical monuments are spread over the municipalities of the park, including 22 religious buildings, 13 champagne estates, 6 parks, and gardens. A prestigious heritage.
