During the Camargue races, both raseteurs and tourneurs must wear a white outfit. Their name appears in black on their t-shirt, and potential advertisings cannot exceed 1.55 square inches (10 cm²). Originally, the guardians of Camargue racing did not have a specific outfit. The idea came from writer and manager Folco de Baroncelli, who imposed a costume to give them more unity when he created the Nacouin Guardian in 1817.
