A doctor in volcanology and holder of a state certificate as a mountain guide, Fanny Sorbadere is cleared to lead hikers in the Sancy massif. Fascinated by volcanoes since childhood, this native of the Gers department settled in Auvergne in the early 2000s for studying in the Magmas and Volcanoes laboratory at the Clermont Auvergne University (UCA). Passionate about the diversity of the region's landscapes and the history that its reliefs tell, Fanny Sorbadere stages them in unusual ways through the storybooks she publishes and the shows she hosts.
