A life in the full open air

Bred in Franche-Comté with a harsh continental climate, the Comtois horse adapts to all types of weather and to temperature variations. Homeothermic and endothermic, like us, it produces its own heat and is able to maintain a constant temperature independently of the external environment. It also requires little maintenance and can live all year round on the mountain pastures of the Doubs or Jura in the full open air.
