Located at the foot of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre in the Hautes-Pyrénées department, Lake Oncet covers an area of 14.8 acres (6.7 ha) and is 52.5 ft (16 m) deep. Its waters are home to various fish species, including brown trouts, rainbow trouts, arctic chars, and minnows. Lake Oncet thaws quite late in the season, and it is not uncommon not to be able to fish there until July. It is accessible on foot after a 2h30 walk in the valley.
