The locality of Sainte-Agnès in the Alpes-Maritimes department is crossed by the GR52, a hiking path that links Menton to Saint-Dalmas-Valdeblore, 73 mi north (118 km). The medieval village's 5.7 sqm territory (9.3 km²) offers numerous other possibilities for more modest hikers. From Sainte-Agnès, they can reach the neighboring locality of Mention via the Righi, Orméa, or Virettes paths. Other routes also allow hikers to get to Gorbio, Peille, or Castillon. Finally, they can venture as far as Monti or Castellar and on the Franco-Italian peaks on the border.
