A lake nestled amidst Vosges' mounts
The lake of Longemer and its surroundings have been classified as "remarkable sites" since 2002. On the outskirts of the lake stand a few peaks overlooking it: "Le Haut de Saint-Jacques" (1,138 m / 3,700 ft) and "Le Fachepremont (1 086 m / 3,500 ft) to the south, and "Le Boulard" (1,075 m / 3,450 ft) to the north.
