Born in Paris on April 5, 1978, Charles Carmignac is the eldest son of Édouard Carmignac, who has two daughters and two sons. A graduate of ESCP and the Institut d'Études Politiques, he has directed since 2018 his father's art foundation located on the island of Porquerolles. A musician in the Franco-American folk band Moriarty since 1995, Charles Carmignac is a jack-of-all-trades who has also developed the writing of enigmas and manages the company Ma Langue au Chat.
