The Explorers
Located on the Meije range of the Écrins massif, the Girose glacier forms with the Mont de Lans glacier the largest ice cap in France. Walks on the glacier to discover its crevasses and seracs are organized in the morning by high mountain guides. They even allow visitors to enter the bowels of the glacier and discover its interior and history thanks to a safe route in an ice cave.
