A few kilometers from Piana and the Arone creek (in the foreground), the Capo Rosso (in the background) is 330 m (1,083 ft) high above the sea. Its caves and pink granite cliffs sculptured by erosion are classified as World Heritage by Unesco. This is the westernmost point of the island Corsica.
