The Przewalski horse presents a large head with eyes placed high up and not on the sides as in domestic horses. Its ears are long and its neckline is thick, while its mane is short and grows upward in a brush. It sheds every year and has no forelock, this tuft of horsehair growing between the ears and falling on the head.
