A haven for protected species

The Tarn is a haven for protected species. The river, which takes its source on Mont Lozère in the eponymous department, shelters an unsuspected fauna of birds, fish, and insects and very diverse flora in the heart of its meanders. In addition to organized river cruises or canoe, stand-up paddle, or kayak descents, many discovery trails are set up all around the Tarn. They allow discovering the richness of the local fauna and flora as well as the swimming spots arranged on the river.
