In Epernay, the Tour de Castellane (Castellane's Tower) is situated a little away from the famous Avenue de Champagne, where the greatest champagne houses are located, but with its size (66 metres), it is impossible to miss. The Art Nouveau style advertising tower has been a historical monument since 1990. On the pediment of the buildings at its feet, a series of enamelled panels spell out the names of several distant cities (Paris, London, Brussels, Berlin, Stockholm, New York, Barcelona, Alexandria, etc.) that had a commercial relationship with Maison de Castellane.
