A frost-sensitive tropical plant

0
Frangipani (Plumeria) is a frost-sensitive plant native to tropical and subtropical America that is found today in all warm countries. Its foliage made of simple leaves grouped at the end of twigs is deciduous or semi-evergreen. The flowers, which vary in color depending on the species, do not appear before four to five years. Flattened and fragrant, they are 1.9 inches (5 cm) in diameter and have five broad lobes that bloom in clusters or terminal panicles on stems that do not yet have leaves.
