The silver mine of Tellure park was exploited from 1549 to the beginning of the 20th century. Since 2009 a via ferrata allows its visit through a route created within the cave's walls. The temperature underground is around 50° F (10° C) throughout the year. The via ferrata explores the work of medieval miners who dug the galleries and extracted the silver veins from their gneiss walls with very few protections and equipment.
