A four-bay nave

The Saint-James-and-Saint-Philip Church of Lentilles was built in the 16th century. Stone being scarce in the Aube region, men built churches with the same materials as their houses out of mud, cob, and wood. The walls of the main entrance are covered with chestnut tiles. The church also holds varied roofing materials, such as slate on its bell tower and flat tiles on its nave. The building consists of a four-bay nave flanked by aisles. Each bay is adorned with single windows separated by Saint Andrew's crosses.
