A fort with numerous facilities

The Fort de Brégançon, the Var summer residence of the French presidents since 1968, has retained its 17th-century appearance. It consists of two towers (the keep and the west tower) and a main building. The outdoor facilities include a belvedere that dominates the cliff of the rock on which the fort stands 114 ft (35 m) above sea level, a small private beach, a garden, and a helipad. In 2018, the Macron couple had an above-ground swimming pool added in the garden of the Fort de Brégançon.
