The Alpine Campanula or bellflower (Campanula alpestris), also known as the Allioni Campanula, is a perennial plant endemic to the Alps. It grows on rocks and scree, mainly on limestone soil between 4,593 and 9,186 ft (1,400 and 2,800 m) above sea level. The Alpine Campanula's blue to light purple blossoming is visible in July and August.
