Immediately after harvest, the flax straw bales are stored flat and above ground in sheds protected from rain. Examined by experts and deemed neither too wet nor dry to be harvested, the cylindrical bales will not be long in entering the factory, where they will be unwound, flattened, separated, combed. There, the flax would begin its slow transformation into golden fibers thin as hair and destined to become ecological and comfortable clothing.
