A farm deeply transformed

Denis Lelouvier bought the Bardelières farm in 1998. His meeting with the Englishwoman Janine Rosemary was decisive, and the couple decided to abandon the additive of corn and cattle cake in the food of their 55 cows. They switched to 100% grass at the cost of heavy transformations that have paid off as their organic Camembert received the only PDO label in the Calvados department. The couple also organizes immersion visits with local high school students to emphasize sustainable agriculture and livestock farming.
