A family house with typical stylized architecture

The Villa du Temps Retrouvé is easily recognizable by its facade with red and ocher hollow bricks forming a diamond-shaped lattice pattern and its stylized architecture typical of holiday houses. It is located in the Villa Bon Abri, a family home built by the architect Clément Parent in 1863 for his family. His son Louis Parent was also one of Marcel Proust's friends. The elegant Norman house located 15 Avenue du President Raymond Poincaré in the heart of the city of Cabourg has been restored from July 2019 to recreate the cultural and refined universe of the Belle Epoque. The gardens with carefully designed paths and the interior spaces have also undergone thorough restructuring.
