The urban fabric of the municipality of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt represents only 3.6% (675 acres/273 ha) of its total area of 18,728 acres (7,579 ha). The village constitutes the center-city of the urban unit of Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt, made up of the two municipalities of Saint-Saturnin and Villars. It is also part of the attraction area of Apt that includes 18 municipalities. Finally, Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt is located within the Luberon Regional Nature Park that extends over 85 municipalities across the Vaucluse and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence departments.
