Freestyle tricks in kitesurfing are almost innumerable and are only limited by the imagination and intrepidity of their performers, like here Mickael Neral at Pointe Faula in Martinique. Among them, we can mention the Backloop (or Backroll) which consists of rotating backward, the Railey, where the body tilts in a horizontal position in relation to the ocean, or the S-Bend Pass which makes the kitesurfer turn in a spin. Many other figures such as Darkslide, Bel Air, Jibe Strapless, or Blind Judge exist, making all combinations possible. The riders' boards are equipped with connected sensors that display their performances (jump height, time suspended in the air, landing force, rotations, and number of jumps) in real time.
