All the bulls that participate in Camargue races are cocardiers bulls bearing attributes. On the other hand, when a spectator says that a bull is a cocardier, he recognizes the animal as having qualities of intelligence on the track. A so-called cocardier bull is more esteemed than a barricadier bull, more spectacular and violent but less pertinent than the others.
