A developing skyline

For the past fifteen years, the urban skylines have acted as showcases and positioning tools in the European interurban competition. The Marseille skyline, centered around the Euroméditerranée project relating to the development of the Quais d'Arenc, is no exception to this trend. In addition to the CMA CGM Tower designed by architect Zaha Hadid and delivered in 2010 (left) and the recent La Marseillaise tower by Jean Nouvel inaugurated in 2018 (right), a third project - the Mirabeau tower - led by the Lebanese architect Hala Wardé is expected to complete in 2022 the skyline in the making of the Phocaean city.
