A dam essential to its estate
0
0
The construction of a dam (background) made it possible to supply fresh water to the lands, then dedicated to polyculture, of Brégançon Castle located on the maritime edge of Bormes-les-Mimosas in the Var department. It was Hermann Sabran, the grandson of pioneer Simon Sabran, who had the dam built at the end of the 19th century. He largely contributed to the development of the estate of Brégançon Castle, which became mainly wine-centered in the mid-1950s.
