A daily hoof care
0
0
The good health of the hooves is the guarantee of the proper locomotion of the horse, which can be limited or even prevented by the slightest defect of balance, lack of flexibility of the horn, or injuries under the sole. Daily hoof maintenance is therefore necessary, especially for stabled horses, for which cleaning the litter and the hooves prevents the development of bacteria that cause pathologies such as frog rot. The condition of the feet of horses in exercise must be checked before and after each ride to remove impurities or foreign bodies stuck under the sole and to detect any problems with the shoeing.
