A crenelated square bell tower
0
0
The crenelated square bell tower of Notre-Dame de Nazareth Cathedral in Vaison-la-Romaine rises above the last span of the north aisle against the northern apsidole. Its upper part is pierced with putlog holes and decorated with a frieze of foliage, a cornice with corbels, and openings with small columns. The funerary cippus with a portrait of Publius Atilius Ingenuus is embedded in the eastern face of the bell tower.
