The Anse du Cul du Loup and its hinterland form a site preserved by Natura 2000 due to the richness of its fauna and flora. From Tatihou to Lestre, the cove comprises a large part of the Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue oyster basin and grows its hazelnut-tasting oysters. Inside, in the municipalities of Quettehou and Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, marshes are home to a rich biodiversity of reedbeds, groves and wet meadows.
