A cooperative cellar
The cooperative cellar of Pierrefeu-du-Var gathers 160 winegrowers spread on 1,616 acres (654 ha) listed in the Côtes-de-Provence AOC (Controlled Designation of Origin). Created in 1921 by 54 winegrowers, it produces an average of 35,000 hectoliters of wine per year. The production of the cooperative cellar consists of 85% rosé wine, 10% red wine, and 5% white wine.
