A complex hydrographic network

The plain of La-Londe-les-Maures serves as a receptacle for an important watershed that collects the waters from the foothills of the Maures Massif. They are drained by a hydrographic network at the origin of the three main torrents of the locality, Maravenne, Valcros, and Pansard, whose entire watershed extends over nearly 48 mi (78 km). Dams stand upstream, at Valcros and Camp Long, to regulate the hydrological regime of these streams and contribute to the irrigation and water supply of La-Londe-les-Maures.
