A combination of natural habitats
0
0
During its annual cycle, the Hermann's tortoise (Testudo hermanni hermanni) needs a combination of different natural environments. They range from wooded areas for its protection or semi-open and grassed areas for its food to more open and well-exposed areas for the deposit of its eggs, including the essential water points. The reptile's protection and preservation programs, therefore, pay particular attention to the management of its habitat.
