A coastline dotted with twelve beaches

Located on the Var coast 13.6 mi (22km) east of Hyères, Le Lavandou is a seaside resort renowned for its twelve fine sandy beaches. They stretch over seven miles (12 km), from Anglade to the west to Pramousquier to the east. They alternate between city beaches, such as those of Le Lavandou Centre or Saint-Clair (photo), and wilder and smaller ones, such as Rossignol or Layet. The easternmost beach of Le Lavandou, Pramousquier, is shared with the neighboring municipality of Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer.
