The municipality of Èze covers 5.88 sqm (9.47 km²) and stretches from 0 to 2,296 ft (0 to 700 m) above sea level. Its very steep territory, mainly occupied by wooded areas and semi-natural environments, starts from the hamlet of Èze-sur-Mer, by the Mediterranean Sea. It includes the picturesque medieval village of Èze-Village, at 1,407 ft (429 m) of altitude, as well as the Col d'Èze perched at an altitude of 1,663 ft (507 m).
