A coastal town between Toulon and Saint-Tropez

The municipality of Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer covers 1,688 acres (683 ha) from sea level to 1,620 ft (494 m) of altitude along a coastal road in the Var department. It extends 27.9 miles (45 km) east of Toulon and 11 miles (18 km) southwest of Saint-Tropez. The locality is made up of the three entities of Pramousquier in the west, Canadel in the center, and Rayol in the east. Bordering the municipalities of Le Lavandou to the west, La Môle to the north, and Cavalaire-sur-Mer to the east, it is part of the conurbation of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez.
