A coastal hike over the cliffs

0
Between Granville and Cancale, this depression of about 193 sq. miles (500 km²) is where the biggest tides in Europe take place. Either at low tide or when the high tide is at its peak, the bay of Mont Saint-Michel reveals all its secrets: the fauna, the flora, the light, and the reflections of the sky over the sea… To discover these wonders, you will have to use the GR 223 ranging from Carolles to Champeaux. The trail runs along the coastline, blending with the cliffs’ slopes. Thanks to the layout of wide steps, visitors can easily reach the top of the cliffs and enjoy a breath-taking view of the Mont-Saint-Michel bay.
