Through its collections, the Lalique Museum pays tribute to the creative genius of René Lalique and the know-how of his workers. From 1922 onwards, his Alsatian factory produced mass-produced objects that brought beauty to tables around the world. From 1935 onwards, his new artistic creations were made by artists at his Wingen-sur-Moder factory. His son Marc continued his work and introduced crystal instead of glass in 1950. One hundred years after the opening of the Verrerie d’Alsace, nearly two hundred and fifty men and women (including seven “Best Workers of France”) continue René Lalique’s demand for quality and beauty.
